As an intern there, I was given the opportunity to actively participate and lead various group activities and classroom exercises, with the focus on cross-cultural communication and awareness. During my time working at L’École de la Deuxième Chance, I aided in administrative tasks such as meetings with students to discuss employment opportunities and their CV, as well as engaged in conversations with the students in discussing cultural differences and nuances. My time at L’École de la Deuxième Chance offered a unique insight into the French alternative education system and how the work environment functioned.
