French: Linguistic Proficiency
FR 3050 – Intermediate French Conversation
The following essay was completed in response to listening to various classical music compositions in class, from which we were assigned to write a story based on the visuals the music evoked.

FR 4120 (MONT 3151 – University Paul Valery Course – L’Histoire du Cinéma Jusqu’à 1920) – French and Francophone Cinema - TD TE21CN)
The following essay was written during my time abroad for the TD portion of my direct-enroll course at a local French University in Montpellier. The following paper demonstrates my ability to analyze and discuss a book regarding the emergence of the "star-system" in cinema and its impact on film history.

FR 3120 – Writing in French I (MONT 3024W – French Literature: Future King)
While studying abroad in the spring of 2023, I took a course where we read Perceval ou le conte du Graal by Chrétien de Troyes. For our final project, we were assigned to discuss an element from the medieval period that relates to the novel and present it. Below you can find both my essay and presentation.

FR 4120 (MONT 3151 – University Paul Valery Course – L’Histoire du Cinéma Jusqu’à 1920) – French and Francophone Cinema - CM
In this course, taken completely in French at l'université Paul Valéry, for the final grade, the University of Minnesota gave us the option to complete an 8-10 page paper regarding the topic of the glass instead of taking a traditional final. They gave us this option due to the disruptions caused by the strikes closing the campus.

Culture
LAIB 4000 (MONT 3303 – Internship)
In this course, in addition to taking part in an internship, we also learned about French history and culture, more specifically how it pertains to the workforce. For our final, we were instructed to pick a topic regarding the history of France and how it relates to their working environment or a topic regarding the French workforce/workplace and present it to the class. Below, you can find both my essay and presentation.

Business Competency
MKT 4270 – International Marketing
In this class, for the final, our professor asked that we pick a company that is currently only active in the United States and create a marketing plan to implement it in another country. This assignment required us to be able to analyze and apply the principles we learned in class in a tangible way. Our group chose Instacart, a grocery-delivery service, and composed a detailed plan on how it could successfully start doing business in Australia.

MKT 3020 – Consumer Behavior
At the end of this course, we were asked to use the concepts and terms learned in class regarding human consumption patterns and the psychological phenomenon that influences buying behavior and create a website using these topics with a real-world example.
